Types of Users • Customer/District Manager • Debbie Schluben, Dan Gruman, Mark Lange • Principal • View/print reports, no data entry • School Manager (You) • Data entry, view/print reports, manage teachers and students for whole school • Teacher • Data entry, view/print reports, manage students for his/her class

  4. Website • Handout—AIMSWeb Data System—Getting Started • www.aimsweb.com/customer-login • Customer ID: 17356 • Username and Password (see email) • Case-sensitive • To change your password:

Entering Score Data • Preliminary rosters have been uploaded • Rosters will be revised August 17th • After August 17th • A student moves in/out or changes classes—School Manager can manage • Teachers can add students to their class if a Manager has added them to the system • New sections, etc.—contact Debbie or Mark

Entering Score Data • My Classes (teacher), Scoring (school user) • Blue/grey tabs=test • AIMSweb TEN (Tests of Early Numeracy) • OCM—Oral Counting • NIM—Number Identification • QDM—Quantity Discrimination • MNM—Missing Number • F+F Math • F+F Math—Computation • F+F MAP—Concepts & Applications

  7. Entering Score Data • Click to enter benchmark data • Under Score Sheets, click “paper” to print a class roster with columns for each test • Red arrow changes tab direction • Progress Monitoring data = DIAT

  8. Reports • Handout—Getting Started has overview and most commonly used reports • Handout—AIMSWeb Report Summary has full list of reports • Key Point—Norm Referenced versus Criterion Referenced • Dan Gruman, Mark Lange, and Debbie are creating reports for Cognos

  10. Training Other Staff • If you are responsible for all data entry • Talk with principal—do you need to train anyone on anything? • Principals have not been trained, either • September 21

  11. Training Other Staff • If teachers will enter their own data • Debbie recommends walking through handout AIMSWeb Data System—Getting Started • May want to wait until they have data to enter • Should fit in a staff meeting

  12. Teacher User Names and Passwords • To create user names and passwords for the teachers in your building • Manage tab, Teachers • Click “Add Users for All Teachers” • OR email Debbie and tell her when your training is

Teacher User Names and Passwords • If you need to look up a teacher’s user name • Manage tab, Teachers • Look at last column • Teacher passwords • Reset whole school and email to teachers • Reset an individual teacher: click User column, then either type their new password OR click both boxes to system-generate and email a new password • If teacher knows his/her user name, at login page click “Forgot your password”
