  2. Happy 40th Anniversary , IDS! Lets take advantage of the new school year to create a partnership between the classroom and the school library media center. What do you want from your media center? Using technology through exploring the fabulous world of print and books we can create a fun, exciting world for all students and staff alike!   4. Web Logging = Blogging For example, did you know that simple tools like blogs and wikis can be accessed and shared for free? Many sources offer free blog space such as Google and its Blog Spot: http://kimsgoogleblog.blogspot.com/ Click arrow to advance 

  5. Afraid of Wikipedia? • Wikipedia is a shared source that can be edited by anyone. It is important to remember that is is not always safe to trust information posted to wikipedia. • Wiki’s are something different, yet work in a similar way. Editing features can be shared by all, or just by select users. • It is possible to share all sorts of information and keep it protected at the same time! • It is fun-try it today on the next slide!
