  2. New event parking regulations The new school parking regulations will also apply at events organised by Friends of School: School gates will be closed 10 minutes before and at the end of events to avoid dangerous situations with cars driving in and out and children walking in-between. Please park with consideration outside school grounds and remember, we’re allowed to use the overflow car-park at the Rugby Club, just a short walk from school! School uniform bring and buy Summer holidays are here, it’s the best time to look through the cupboards and sort out school uniforms which are too small for your children. Many parents know families with smaller children at our school, who are happy to use the items still in good condition. This is a great way of helping our environment, reducing waste and your friends save some money too. But what to do if you don’t know someone who could use the uniforms? During the first week of term in September you can hand in any unwanted school uniform items in good condition into the school. In the second school week we’ll run a stall in the community room ( further details will be announced in September), where you can pick the right size for your children for a small donation towards Friends of Kingston Park Primary School. This way you can help the environment, the school and save some money! Invitation to our Annual General Meeting (AGM)  The AGM of the Friends of Kingston Park Primary School will take place on Thursday 13th September 2012 at 5.00pm in school - see the attached invitation letter for details. Every parent, guardian or carer of a child at school is automatically a member of the Friends, alongside all staff employed by the school. This is your opportunity to find out what we do and how you could get involved. Or simply show us that you appreciate what we do, come to the meeting and give us your vote for the next school year! Trustee Julia Stobie is resigning due to professional commitments, a replacement will be elected at the AGM. Nominations are most welcome, the procedure is explained in the invitation letter.  Newsletter 5 (2011 – 2012)
