Farmington Hills Farmington Hills, Michigan Bright Horizons at Farmington Hills Farmington Hills, Michigan Bright Horizons at Farmington Hills is nestled in a state-of-the-art office building in the midst of a bustling office complex. The center which opened in 2007 provides a bright and calm environment designed specifically to be welcoming and inviting to young children and families. Operating hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The center primarily serves the employees at Trott and Trott, but also extends enrollment to the local community. The center can accommodate 120 children, within nine classrooms, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. The school age program offers care and educational opportunities for students during school vacations and holiday breaks. Plus, there is a full summer camp program for these older children. To provide for all the needs of the children during their time at the center, the children also have access to a fully equipped art studio where they are encouraged to freely express their creativity. A large motor room is also available to accommodate many gross motor activities for those rainy days when children cannot get outside. The classrooms are filled with natural light and are beautifully equipped with specific age appropriate furnishings, and wall hangings that capture the essence of each age group. All classrooms have direct access to their outdoor playground from their classroom. The center has a warm and inviting entrance area with comfortable chairs and a Growing Readers library that invites parents to sit with their children, for a moment before going on with their day.
