Process • Magnet time through online proposals • 2 parts • Project – describes science does not get repeated • Experiment – describes measurement Duplicate for each requested week • Very Important to have prior results! • Reviewed and ranked by panel of in-house experts • 3 calls for proposals per year • Next due date July 10

  12. Energy Budget • Users given an energy / MWHr budget • Enough to run 31 hours – given 41 hours in the cell • Should run out of energy before you run out of time! • 1 MWHr roughly $120 • $24,000 to $70,000 for a week of time JUST FOR ELECTRICITY • Please use magnet time wisely • Power ~ B2
