  2. “Signalling the Link” A presentation by Mike Walshaw, Swanage Railway Signal & Telegraph Dept.

  3. “Project Wareham” will see the Swanage Railway linked with the Main Line at Worgret Junction under a Swanage Railway – Network Rail Partnership.

  4. Show No.2 We look at the work being done by Network Rail and its contractor Signalling Solutions Ltd at Wareham and on the Swanage Branch Line.

  5. As part of the Poole to Wool Re-Signalling Project, Network Rail installed new crossover points at Wareham.

  18. The finished job ready for the next day’s trains. But trains cannot yet cross over!

  19. In December 2012, Network Rail renewed the points at Worgret Junction, where the Swanage Branch leaves the Main Line

  20. Here are the points at Worgret Junction before renewal. The Ground Lever Frame is in the tin shelter!

  31. Network Rail have also installed Signals and Equipment Cabinets on the Branch Line for the link with the Swanage Railway

  32. This will be the new Up Distant Signal near the Bridge over the River Frome.

  34. At Wareham there is a Token Instrument Cabinet on each platform

  35. On the Down Platform

  36. And on the Up Platform

  37. The Token Instrument Cabinet is the larger one
