NEWater Infrastructure Plan Transmission Mains Extension to Jurong Island Objective • This project is to extend the NEWater (NW) transmission network to Jurong Island, to meet the increasing demand of NEWater by industries on Jurong Island. Scope • Supply, delivery and laying of approx 5.5km of 2200mm dia and 9.0km of 1600mm dia NEWater pipelines on Mainland and Jurong Island. • Construction & design of approx 3.0km long 6metre dia. segmental tunnel with twin 2200mm dia. pipelines from Jurong Island to Gul Road/Pioneer Road junction. Project Schedule • Calling of Tenders : 4th Quarter 2009 • Scheduled Completion : Jun 2013
