  4. TIPS FOR SHOOTING VIDEO • Avoid light in the background (windows, lamps) • Sound does not zoom • Does not have to be perfect

  5. HOW TO RECORD • Power on • Point (zoom) • Click red button to begin recording • Click red button to end recording

  6. PLAY BACK VIDEO • < Arrow – Skip to previous video in playback mode • > Arrow – Skip to next video in playback mode • Press play

  7. Deleting Unwanted Video • Use the arrow keys in playback mode to select video • Click the trash can • You will be prompted - delete video ? • Click trash can again to delete

  8. Flip Idea Videos • Video 3-5 different teachers around you. • Share ideas of how you could use the flip cameras in your classroom. • Explain what you think the benefit would be of using the flip camera in your class.

  9. Download Video to Your Computer • Flip open the USB drive • Wait patiently while the software loads • Select - View Your Flip video – click OK and wait for files to be loaded • User‘s Agreement – I Agree • Auto loads Muvee Software

  10. Download Video to Your Computer (cont.) • Scroll through the library and select the desired video – click on the desired video • Select Save Video then select your video • Select Save to computer • Name your album • Click OK • Close the screen

  11. Locating Your Saved File • Go to My Documents and select My Flip videos • Be sure to safely remove your external device Back

  12. Flip Software – Create Movies • Select the videos (or click Select All). • Click Create Movie • Order the clips you want and select “Full Length” • Add a title, credits, and click next • Add music • Add a title and click Create Movie
