  1. Debbie Cowley Action for Prisoners’ Families (APF)

  2. Fairly new to the field of criminal justice I became Director of Action for Prisoners’ Families just over two years ago. One of the first pieces of work I did for APF was to attend a meeting with some Eurochips colleagues to work on an EU project.

  3. The power of families My background is in parenting and family support and I believe strongly in the importance of the family not only for children but also for society as a whole. The criminal justice system undermines families but strong families can help to reduce crime.

  4. Learning from one another It is important for APF to keep learning. We learn from our member organisations in England and Wales but hearing about experiences from other countries really stimulates new ideas and helps us to develop.
