  2. Survey - Homework Task You have 6 questions below which you must use to design and carry out a survey on homelessness and ask to as many people as possible over the next 3 weeks. Aim for at least 50 people. You have to design the questionnaire sheet the best way you think to ask the questions eg you may have 6 separate sheets with one question on each and make a note of their responses on each. sheet The most important points are: You do not ask anyone their name to carry out a survey you just want to make a note of their responses and crucially the more you interview the better. However, you may want to note their gender eg male /female. You may also want to note their age group: eg 11 – 18 19 – 25 26-35 36 – 48 50 – 65 65+

  3. Rules etc • Do not pester people who clearly do not want to participate in the survey and always show respect at all times. • Once you have carried out your questionnaire you must analyse the responses eg what did the majority say to each question? You could also do a pie chart with % responses shown for each question

  4. The Questions 1 How many homeless people do you see in your area? 2 How would you describe a homeless person? 3 What is your opinion of homeless people? 4 Do you give money to homeless people you see on the street? 5 Would you buy a homeless person a cup of tea/ coffee or a Sandwich? 6 Do you ever buy the Big Issue? Q How do your results compare with facts given in previous films at the beginning of lesson?
