  1. The [25th Meeting of the Follow-up] Committee called uponthe Member States that have not done so, to designate their National Focal Points (NFPs) for the OIC-VET Programme in order to facilitate the communication between SESRIC and the relevant Member State. The Committee also called uponthe Member States to cooperate and collaborate with SESRIC during the preparation period of the initial activities of the Pilot Application Phase scheduled to start in the Fall of 2009.

The 24th Session of COMCEC “Decidesthat the Monitoring and Advisory Committee (MAC) will comprise SESRIC, IDB, IUT, ICCI and the ICYF-DC as well as the National Focal Points (NFPs) as members, and entrusts SESRIC to assume the role of the Executing OIC Organ (EO) of the OIC-VET Programme and organize the first meeting of the MAC before 25th Meeting of the Follow-up Committee and requests the IDB to support participation of low-income Member Countries in this program.”

  3. The 25th Session of COMCEC “Takes note with satisfaction of the progress that has been achieved vis-à-vis OIC-VET and commends the efforts exerted by SESRIC to launch the OIC-VET Portal as a critical step in the implementation of the Programme”
