The Govt 3 Programme

The Govt3 Programme focuses on practical action to improve government sustainability across transportation, waste/recycling, office consumables/equipment, and buildings. With support from Cabinet and 47 central government agencies, it aims to reduce waste, increase energy efficiency, promote sustainable procurement, and implement eco-friendly measures. The programme includes initiatives such as the Workplace Travel Plan, Environmental Choice accreditation, and a reporting framework to track progress. The Govt3 team, led by Kathryn Maxwell, works collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals.
