  2. Q1 OMIM Q2 Document Gene Q3 Sequence Species X X An alternate view of the exploration tree. The user started with OMIM and did a query for documents and genes. They then did an additional query for sequences and species links from OMIM. Each query adds a substrate node to the substrate tree. The “fat link” between Q1 and Q3 can be expanded to show the actual links between the substrates. The X’s allow user to remove those boxes. X
