  • Accused by Ann Putnum, Jr., Mercy Lewis, Abigail Williams of witchcraft

  • 81 years old

  • Thrown into jail

  • When on trial, refused to enter a plea

  • Refused to be tried, so he stood mute

  • In an attempt to acquire a confession, Sherriff George Corwin put Corey to pressed death
