  4. (1) ID = unique urn (e.g. “http://mmisw/ont/q2o/test/gapTest") • (1-n) long name = human readable label (e.g. gap test) • (0-n) short name = (e.g. sst) • (1-n) definition = (note multiple definitions must not be conflicting) • (0-n) symbol = (e.g. "Hs, Td") • (0-n) reference = links to online documents • (0-n) figure = images that help explain or are referenced in the definition • (0-n) relationship = ontological link to other objects • (0-1) equation = defining equation (mathML) • (0-n) notes = additional information supporting the term Considering what can make up a dictionary?

  7. Different formats available • http://mmisw.org/ont/q2o/parameter • http://mmisw.org/ont/q2o/parameter.rdf • http://mmisw.org/ont/q2o/parameter.html • http://mmisw.org/ont/q2o/parameter.n3 • http://mmisw.org/ont/q2o/parameter/maximum.html

  8. What will the URI for the term look like? • rangeTest • voc2rdf content • test/rangeTest • voc2rdf “acronym” metadata field • q2o/test/rangeTest • voc2rdf “authority” metadata field • http://mmisw.org/ont/q2o/test/rangeTest Register Vocab Content and Metadata

  9.
