PROJECT OBJECTIVES

2. PROJECT OBJECTIVES Release a fifteen track album entitled, “DIVERSIFY UNIFICATION”, targeted to help goad humanity to universalism. Introduce to the market a unisex fashion design label ( Xpress Collection) in the form of clothes and accessories. Initiate a music and fashion studio to assist in the development of the various departments of the industry, including liaison with government and other agencies. Visit kindergartens and primary schools to help them learn the components of music and fashion. Empower the youth with early age career choices. Host a music concert  and fashion show. Enhance development through education and the creation of employment.

5. Project Achievements Previous Support Has Already Resulted In: Current & recent activities include: Recording of music demo. A professional certificate of proficiency awarded from the Ghana National Tailors & Dressmakers Association. Procurement of a sewing machine for self-employment. Production of the Music Video titled Change (Prison). Recording of two original songs to be featured in a compilation CD by Ghanaian musicians. This effort is sponsored by a local promotion company, African Drum, who will retain the rights. It is an opportunity for public exposure to the music and the Artiste ;Vishnu Express. Recording of nine original songs and filming of one music video for future (independent?) release.

6. The Support Of A Few Sponsors Resulted In The Recording And Mastering Of These Musical Tracks And Production Of A Music Video. These works were accomplished through the generosity of the following individuals both in cash and in kind. The cost of recording was approximately GH¢650 (about US$450).  The video clip (of the track: Change (Prison) was filmed and edited by Carlos Duhaime of Edit1, New York, USA.  Mastering of tracks was done by John Masterson (UK). Financial, logistical, moral and spiritual support came from David O'Neill (Australia), Amandla Awethu Africa Inc. (USA & Ghana), Dada Daneshananda, Dada Pramananda, and Michael Bamfo (Accra).

AREA OF SUPPORT Phase 1 – Music Recording of new album (15 tracks) 6 songs plus all previously recorded songs mastered In the UK need to be recorded again as per Ghanaian standard.  Cost of studio (7 days) is GH₵ 1,050.00 (ca US$750), Cost of CD Duplication: 1,000 copies is GHC 500.00 (ca US$355). Distribution of music video, Change (Prison) to all TV stations, major radio stations and distribution houses etc. - GH ₵ 50.00 (ca US$35) Phase 2 – Tailoring & Fashion  The following equipment will allow us to pursue higher quality fashion creations in a very competitive local market.   Heavy duty over locker machine – GH ₵ 500.00(ca US$355) Embroidering machine – GH ₵ 800.00(ca US$570)   Industrial standard sewing machine – GH ₵ 500.00(ca US$355)

10. Future Vision & Planned Activities  In this age of rapid growth, people must find the very fundamental nature of living a healthy life. This can only serve to accelerate human progress by means of developing our moral ability to suit the very purpose of existence. We aim to become models for other youth who aspire towards self-actualization and self-reliance.  Using practical experience as a guide, training and mentoring programs will be developed in song writing, tailoring, marketing, etc. The project at the moment is facing financial challenges in terms of funding to pursue its vibrant intentions as mentioned below...
