EGIN ANNUAL MEETING 2011
Welcome in Valencia
Pupils / Students who have engaged in Exchange activities are more flexible and able to adapt to changes.
Learning about other countries and cultures can only be done by going there.
Exchange of teachers has more impact than the exchange of students.
Exchange activities in initial training should only be fun.
Exchange in VET will only be possible if the social partners make it a priority in VET.
Exchange should be a mandatory part in the VET curriculum.
Trade Unions should support making work placements / internships for foreign students available in the home country.
In competence based training social competences also play a role. In modern education this should mean in the European perspective of exchange / experiences abroad.
