Mission Summary (20 Feb 2014) • 9 research flights completed, 2 ferry flights (no science) for total of ~67 flight hours • 18 Sondes (172 deployed) available after RF09 (WED/19 Feb) • Prospects: • Fri: Science ferry to ANC on Fri to sample a poleward developing AR with large IWV (and IVT associated with ETC) • Sat: ANC-based TDR flight • Sun-Tue: Science ferry to TAFB over midlatitudeAR • Transit TAFB to Tampa • Additional 7 IR test sondes available for deployment for Usfc > 30 kt • Fri: Launch 3 test sondes on east side of ETC • Sat: Launch 4 test sondes across midlatitude AR
