  1. SJVAGRAD NITE 2013! The time of your life, To culminate the experience of your life.

  2. SCHEDULE JUNE 5-6, 2013 • June 5th 2013 • Arrive at school no later than 9:00 am (preferably 8 or 8:30) to check in and get on bus. We cannot wait for late students. • Bus will depart from and return to the Office Parking Lot. • Once on the bus, students will not be allowed to leave Disney grounds or return home until 8:30 am the next morning when we return to school(barring emergencies). • Once at Disney grounds, we will eat our lunches and then pass out wristbands and enter the park. • At the close of business for the California Adventure, students must be at California Adventure to begin Grad Nite (No later than 10 pm). You must wear your wristband ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT. If you lose it or discard it you will not be permitted into Grad Nite.

ABOUT GRAD NITE • Your admission grants you access ALL DAY during regular park hours to move between Disneyland Park and California Adventure. • You may also travel to Downtown Disney. • PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE DISNEY GROUNDS (refer to map). • PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DURING THE DAY: The parks are open to other customers including families. Make sure behavior and language is appropriate to a family environment. • STAY TOGETHER IN GROUPS OF 2-4 • DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!! KEEP SUNSCREEN ON. • By the time California Adventure closes to regular business, you must be at the entrance to or in California Adventure Park to begin Grad Nite. The park closes at 10:00 pm that night, so by 9:30 start heading to California Adventure. Disneyland has separate closing times, if you stay at Disneyland you will not be admitted to Grad Nite. • At the conclusion of Grad Nite, return to bus immediately. All students MUST ride the bus to AND from Grad Nite.

WHAT STUDENTS SHOULD BRING NEEDED • Comfortable walking shoes • A jacket or sweater • Spending $ for food and any souvenirs • A paper sack lunch to eat when we arrive on June 5, 2013 (Eat a good breakfast too) • Sunscreen • Refillable water bottle with handle or strap • Backpack (SUBJECT TO SEARCH AT BUS AND PARK) IF DESIRED • Camera • Cellular phone for communication with charger

  5. DISNEYLAND PARK/CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE SAMPLE FOOD PURCHASE • Dinner May 5 at Stage Door Café: • Chicken Breast Nuggets - $8.49 • Served with sliced apples or fries & one dipping sauce. Ranch, Honey Mustard, Barbecue, Marinara or Buffalo Hot Sauce • Soda/Tea – Large $3.49 • TOTAL – $12.98 plus tax, roughly $15 • Snacks May 5-6 at Snack Wagons: • Dasani Water - Large $2.79 (Fruit Cart) • Whole Fruit - Apple, Orange, or Banana $1.79 (Fruit Cart) • Hand-Dipped Corn DogWith sliced apples $6.19 (Corn Dog Wagon) • Soda, Tea, Lemonade – Large $3.49(Any Cart) • Dreyer's Strawberry Whole Fruit Bar - $3.89 (Main Street Cone Shop) • TOTAL – $18.06 plus tax, roughly $20 This is a fairly conservative estimate for dinner and snacks until the time we leave the next morning. Students may bring in a refillable water container or purchase a $6-7 souvenir sipper (there is no discount on refills) and drink water. For this sample menu the total is under $40.

DISNEY GUIDELINES Rules and Regulations • The Event shall be governed by and conducted in accordance with such rules and regulations Disney may establish, in Disney’s sole and absolute discretion, for the Event , the rules set forth on the Grad Nite Park Hopper® Tickets and Wristbands, rules regarding no smoking, dress/attire standards (refer to the Chaperone Planning Guide or website for most updated guidelines), rules requiring the Event Participants to remain in the park until 3:00 a.m., and all applicable laws, rules, regulations and ordinances of any and all governmental authorities having jurisdiction. • All Event Participants and Chaperones will be required to go through a security checkpoint for a bag check (all bags will be subject to a search). • Any person not properly dressed in accordance with the Parks’ dress/attire standards will not be admitted to the Event and if they do not maintain such standards during the Event, they will be asked to leave. • No person attending the Event shall have or bring any alcoholic beverages or controlled substances into the Parks. • Cell phones and cameras are allowed into the Event.

  9. DISNEY DRESS CODE 2013 Disneyland Grad Nite Dress Code The Disneyland® Resort aims to provide a fun, safe environment and an enjoyable experience for all Guests. To that end, the following are not permitted: • Clothing or tattoos with obscene, lewd or offensive language, graphics or designs • Clothing that could be construed as inappropriate for a family environment (e.g., string bikini tops and bottoms, G-strings, excessively torn clothing) • Bare feet • Weapons or accessories that appear to be weapons (e.g., bullet belts) • Clothing or accessories that drag on the ground or create a potential tripping hazard • Wedding dresses • Sharp or pointed accessories that may cause injury • Masks or makeup that could be viewed part of a costume, with the exception of special events or attire intended to identify the wearer (e.g., military uniforms, cultural attire)

VIDEOTAPING/FILMING • Organization understands and agrees that Organization may photograph, videotape, audio-record or film Disney musicians, performers, or show elements at the Event provided however, that any such photographs, videotape, audio-recordings and/or film may only be portions of a performance and not the entire performance, and shall be limited to internal, archival, and/or non-commercial personal purposes only (and cannot, for example, be uploaded to Facebook, YouTube or the like via cell phone or in any other manner). • Personal recordings on cell phones or other such devices permitted with constraints above noted.

  11. DISNEY CONSEQUENCES • Disney reserves the right to refuse admittance to any person within Organization’s group who does not comply with any of the foregoing (or, after admittance, to deprive them of the use of the facilities by delivering them into the custody of any of Organization’s Chaperones) without any liability to such person or Organization. • Disney reserves the right to cancel the Event after notification to Organization of a violation of any applicable rules and/or regulations by any Event Participants and/or any employees, agents, representatives and/or Chaperones of Organization. Disney may provide Organization with a reasonable opportunity to correct any such violation, but Disney shall retain the right to cancel the Event should it determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, that such violation was not adequately corrected.

SJVA EXPECTATIONS OF BEHAVIOR • Students will maintain the same high standard of behavior that is expected at our SJVA campus. • Please be mindful of language, there are families present during the day. • Any instances necessitating intervention of Disney Security Personnel with SJVA students will be handled through Disney. This may include contact of parents for removal of student. • Have fun, but be responsible. We want to be invited back for many years to come. • Please remember that students must maintain high behavior standards between now and the date of Grad Nite. If a student is disciplined for behavior issues between now and Grad Nite, their attendance at the event is in jeopardy. There are NO REFUNDS if students don’t attend event.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS • Can I bring food into Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park? • With the exception of food items for Guests with specific dietary restrictions, food or beverage items are not permitted into either of the Disneyland Resort theme parks. • Could my family attend Disneyland at the same time as the seniors are? • Absolutely, with the following restrictions: • They must purchase their regular admission tickets on their own. • Students must travel down on and return on the school bus. • At the closing of California Adventure at 10 pm they will only be able to attend Disneyland until normal closing. They will not be permitted into Grad Nite.
