What is Pre-Med? • Being pre-med means that you’re taking certain courses to help prepare for the MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) and medical school. • Pre-Med is NOT a major! • Students who are pre-med are usually involved in a lot of volunteering and research projects along with being a part of many student organizations.

  3. The Digital Resource • Wayne State has not developed a website for pre-med students. • The only thing that WSU provides for pre-med students online is a list of required courses. (No information about student organizations, research, or volunteering)* • The digital resource I’ve created compiles as many resources for pre-med students at WSU as possible and puts them all in one place online. • The website is also interactive in the sense that users can provide suggestions for what goes on certain pages
