  1. Daryl Yurek Bolder Venture Partners Daryl Yurek Born in Toronto, Canada, Daryl studied computer science and business at York University and Western University in Canada. Additionally, Daryl went to Stanford University to study digital marketing (SEO). After living in Toronto and Montreal, in 1985, he relocated to England with his wife, now of 40+ years, and his 3 boys. He then moved to Boulder, Colorado, in 1987 and stayed till 2022. Today he has returned to Canada and lives in London, Ontario. He has 40 years of experience with early-stage growth companies from both advising and doing perspectives. He was the founding member of Destron Technologies (1984), the Opus Capital Fund (1992), Bolder Venture Partners (1997), Connect Communications (1998), ID Watchdog Corp. (2005), Veracity Credit 2010, and VetWerx (2011). Daryl Yurek has supported senior management and strategic development teams at a dozen successful companies, where he spearheaded fundraising, mergers & acquisitions, market research, and strategic licensing agreements. Daryl is a pioneer in Canadian capital markets and cross-border transactions for non-resource companies and is credited with developing the “NASDAQ Two-Step,” a process for raising Canadian public venture capital for early-stage companies in Canada and then migrating the listing to the NASDAQ market for follow on Capital. He has raised more than $400M in debt, convertible debt, and equity for start-ups during this time.
