BFG LANDING GEAR DIVISION CHCAT TEST 1: MLG FATIGUE TEST MILESTONES • Qualification Test Procedure (QTP) issued. • Test Rig - Superstructure design complete April/2000. • To be delivered August 25/2000. • Loading system design complete April/2000. • Test Rig calibrated Feb/2001. CURRENT STATUS • Most Parts Coated by VacAero, Piston to be Coated and Ground by SouthWest. • Concern: no grinding facilities in Canada.

  8. BFG LANDING GEAR DIVISION CHCAT TEST 2: HIGH CYCLE WEAR TEST MILESTONES • QTP Issued. • Test Rig - Complete. • Test Engineering and Test Article complete. • 90 % of one life complete, 66% overall complete • CURRENT STATUS • Rig running again, slowed by rig compensator problems.

BFG LANDING GEAR DIVISION CHCAT TEST 3: PISTON FATIGUE TEST MILESTONES • Engineering test requirements issued May 2000 • QTP issued August 2000. • Engineering design complete. • Test rig design to complete for 5”, 80% for 10”. • Test articles required: 5” OD Piston 10” OD Piston 3 Cr - 3 HVOF 3 Cr - 3 HVOF Rough Machined Awaiting material
