  2. Review Tab Select the Review tab from the ribbon to begin Track Changes.

  3. Review Tab cont’d • Select Track Changes to begin tracking, the icon will change color when selected. • Select Change User Name to identify who is tracking the document • Change Tracking Option indicates the different markup options such as insertions or deletions and formatting.

  4. Show Markup • Show Markup indicates view options within the document.

  5. Accept or Reject Changes • Accept or Reject will remove the tracking changes from the document view. • By selecting Final the markup in the document is hidden but not removed.

  6. Hidden Comments or Markups • In order to remove all mark up from the document that are hidden select the Microsoft Office Button and select Prepare, Inspect Document.

  7. Hidden Comments or Markups cont’d • Select Comments, Revisions, Versions, Annotations • Select Inspect • This will find any hidden comments or markups.

  8. New Comment • Select New Comment to add a comment to the document or Delete to erase a comment.

  9. Headers and Footers • Select the Insert tab from the ribbon, select Header or Footer

  10. Changing Columns • Select Columns to begin the columns or highlight text and select column number. • Select More Columns to specify width and spacing.
