  4. Healthcare Expenditure • The total expenditure on health as percentage of GDP of Hong Kong is also far behind.

  5. After SARS in 2003, Hong Kong people started to care more about their health. This causes the health expenditure of private sector has increase from 2004/05 to 2007/08.

  6. Gini Coefficient • The Gini Coefficient in Hong Kongkeep increasing, the gap between the rich and the poor in the society has been widening.

  7. Hong Kong’s wealth inequality is the highest among the world’s developed capitalist economies.

  8. Difficulties encounter of Medical Industry Ageing Problems • The aging population will cause a heavy burden to the Hong Kong medical system.
