Reflect on what they have been taught and what is expected of them • There’s always a tendency for people to disobey the authority

  2. Statement of Problem • Are there any differences in the tendency of obeying the authority of different gender among the undergraduates ?

  3. Purpose of the study there’s always an issue that there’s differences between gender. female students have higher tendency to obey than male students. factors that affecting how students response to certain authority. awareness in obeying authority.

Objective of the study • To investigate the gender differences in obeying orders or rules from the authority among UMP students Research Questions •  What are the factors that influences ump students to obey? •  Which gender is more obeying towards authority among ump students? •  Does ump students aware of what is pro-social and anti-social disobedience?

Literature Review • Stanley Milgram : No significant difference concerning relationship between gender and the issue, but obedient women was more tension than obedient male subject • Williams and Best : Males have higher tendency in breaking laws due to stereotypical gender traits • Brown, Coulter-Kern, Morgan : - Effect of gender on obedience through how gender change their behavior in groups (conform) - There are fewer non-destructive obedience studies
