  2. inception Close – Up Everything matches, the formality of the situation, as the hotel room design and DiCaprio’s costume are both very formal and smart. Two – Shot The expressions show a tense, suspenful scene full of emotion as the main character shows his anger towards his colleague. Longshot / Wide Shot – The camera also zooms in at this point to re-iterate something getting closer, building tension.

  3. INCEPTION • The trailer starts with a voiceover by the main character, this sets up some information about this character. The trailer then continues to introduce 3 characters, providing more information. A voiceover is used to introduce the audience to the main storyline. It introduces a basic storyline with voiceover whilst there is a lot of action on the screen. The teaser continues with a heavy bass sound track to create tension and excitement.

  5. inception • Effects used include:- the bend of the scenery, the shots from weapons, the flooding of the city, the crash of different items and explosions and the floating of the different people. • Effects such as gunshots and explosions are stereotypical of the action genre, and also creates questions for the audience such as ‘who are the characters shooting at?’ and ‘why are they shooting at this person?’ making the viewer want to find out by watching the film.
