  1. Class 2’s Science Week Homework • The World is full of great Scientific inventions. • But just who are the amazing scientist who came up with these ideas? • Your task for Science week is to do a research project at home on a famous scientist of your choice. You can make a booklet about the scientist or a poster about him/her. • Your projects will then be displayed on Friday 25th October, at Class 3’s Science fair. • You should include: • the the full name of your chosen scientist. • a picture of your scientist. • when your scientist lived and died. • the country they were born. • a description of what they were famous for and pictures if possible. • a few sentences to explain how their achievement has benefited the world. • two interesting facts about your scientist. • possibly a quote by your scientist. • Some suggestions. • Charles Darwin , Florence Nightingale, Louis Pasteur, Jacques Cousteau, Alexander Fleming, John Logi Baird, Karl Benz, Thomas Edison, Marie Curie, Archimedes, Edwin Hubble, Jane Goodal,Isaac Newton • Your work should be brought into school on Thursday the 24th October or before. • Have fun. • Mrs Drinkall and Mrs Kemp • Your work should be neat. • You can hand write or print your project. You should take care with your spelling and try to remember to punctuate your sentences at least with full stops and capital letters. • 2. Your work should be colourful. • You should take some time to use markers, pencil crayons and coloured paper to make your project eye catching. • 3. Your project must be informative. • You should think carefully about how your scientist benefited the world and present this to your readers so that they believe that your scientist is truly a FAMOUS scientist.
