Proposed Revisions to Section Q: Emergencies • Proposed amendments due to the revised NEC Safety Case • GSMR Monitor Breach is separately defined as a type of Network Gas Supply Emergency • Relevant storage operators to reduce or cease flowing gas in the the event of a potential or actual GSMR Supply Monitor Breach.

Proposed Revisions to Section Q: Emergencies (continued) • Proposed amendments due to the Network Sales • Transco NTS, under instruction from the NEC, will identify demand side steps including demand reduction at DN offtakes. DNO to identify consequential steps in DN. • Transco NTS, under instruction from the NEC, will allocate gas by LDZ, Relevant DNO to allocate the gas within the LDZ

Proposed Revisions to Section Q: Emergencies (continued) • General Amendments • NGSE stages (1-4) declared either sequentially or by declaring a number of stages together • Following notification that the NGSE has been revoked, the OCM will be reinstated at the start of the next gas day • Trades completed before the OCM market has been suspended will be included with the relevant shipper’s imbalance

D-1 “Potential NGSE” Noms received that would result in a breach of Storage Safety Monitor ANS warning, Shippers invited to renominate, etc. Transco NTS present relevant information and proposed emergency strategy to NEC. NEC, once satisfied that all non-emergency actions have been taken, declares Stage 1 emergency. NEC may curtail storage withdrawals from 06.00 on D. Within D “Potential NGSE” Noms received that would result in a breach of Storage Safety Monitor Where time permits ANS warnings would be provided Transco NTS present relevant information and proposed emergency strategy to NEC NEC, once satisfied that all emergency actions have been taken, declares Stage 1 emergency. NEC may curtail storage withdrawals immediately. “Potential NGSE” (Stage 1) Process NB: Proposed legal text will be amended to reflect this process prior to mod being submitted to the mod panel.
