  2. What is SANBAG? • San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) is the council of governments and transportation planning agency for San Bernardino County. SANBAG is responsible for cooperative regional planning and furthering an efficient multi-modal transportation system countywide. SANBAG administers the ½ cent transportation sales tax (Measure I).

  3. Measure I • ½ cent sales tax • Authorized until 2040 • Estimated to generate $7.25 billion over the next 30 years.

  8. I-10 HOV Extension • Add one lane in each direction from Haven Ave. in Ontario to Ford St. in Redlands • Design starts August 2010 ($30 million) • Construction starts August 2015 ($710 million)

  9. I-215 HOV Gap Closure • Add HOV lane in each direction from the SR 60/SR 91/I-215 Interchange in Riverside to Orange Show Rd. in San Bernardino • Design starts November 2010 ($13 million) • Construction starts August 2012 ($148 million)

  10. I-10 Westbound Widening • Add a general purpose lane to westbound I-10 from Live Oak Canyon Rd. in Yucaipa to Ford St. in Redlands • Construction starts August 2010 ($37.8 million)

  11. Interchange Projects • I-10 & Cherry Ave. • I-10 & Citrus Ave. • I-10 & Tippecanoe Ave. • I-215 & Barton Rd. • I-215 & Mt. Vernon/Washington • I-15 & I-215 Expansion (Devore)

  13. I-10 & Cherry Ave. - Fontana • Replace 5 lane bridge with 8 lane bridge over I-10 and UP rail line and add one lane to each ramp. • Construction starts August 2011 ($61.5 million)

  14. I-10 & Citrus Ave. - Fontana • Replace 4 lane bridge with 7 lane bridge over I-10 and widen bridge over UP rail line from 3 lanes to 6 lanes • Construction starts April 2011 ($47.2 million)

  15. I-10 & Tippecanoe Ave. – San Bernardino/Loma Linda • Reconfigure the interchange with improved ramp design and widen Tippecanoe, Harriman and Redlands Blvd. • Construction starts June 2012 ($37.5 million)

  16. I-215 & Barton Rd. – Grand Terrace • Realign on and off ramps and accommodate I-215 widening • Design starts October 2010 ($4.4 million) • Construction starts February 2013 ($54.6 million)

  17. I-215 & Mt. Vernon/Washington - Colton • Realign on and off ramps and accommodate I-215 widening • Design starts June 2011 ($5.6 million) • Construction starts September 2013 ($71.7 million)

  18. I-15 & I-215 Interchange - Devore • Reconfigure the I-15 & I-215 interchange to provide 4 lanes in each direction on the I-15 corridor though the interchange and add separate truck connectors • Design starts May 2010 ($16.7 million) • Construction starts December 2013 ($287 million)
