Someone I didn’t really know a lot about. Sure I could have picked just about anyone on that list and it would have qualified, but there was something about Madonna that was different. Madonna inspired so many artists that came after her. She is an icon. I’ve heard her music, and it’s fun and upbeat. My favorite kind. While I do know some about her, I would like to learn more. So I’m happy I got assigned her as my artist. She has changed music and opened new doors for aspiring artists. It’s easy to tell what information is credible and what is not when you know a little about her. Madonna’s music pushed boundaries along with her wardrobe and way of performing. Seeing what she started and looking at what we see now, it’s amazing. Lady Gaga is very similar and VERY influenced by Madonna, her struggle for attention and new way of performing, dressing, singing. Ke$ha is also influenced. Look at how she dresses. How she sings.
