The process of setting goal, developing strategies, outlying task and schedule to accomplish the goal.

The act of deciding on how to do something (Cambridge advanced learner’s dictionary)

Webster’s International Dictionary (1981) defines planning as an act or process of making or carrying out plans.


Why need to plan

  • Planning is crucial for meeting your needs during each action step with your time, money, or other resources.

  • It is much easier to adjust your plan to avoid or smoothen a coming crisis, rather than to deal with the crisis when it comes unexpected.

  • Planning will help you to gather all the information, analyze your needs and goals and work with you through the development process to refine your plans.
