4. Under “Research Databases”, Click on “ By Title”

5. Research Databases are primarily Subject-specific indexes to the Journal literature of a field. Sometimes books, book reviews, or Newspaper articles will be Indexed. Indexes contains citations, abstracts, and sometimes full-text. Choose an Index that is suitable for the discipline of your research!

6. To search Biological Abstracts in the years prior to 1980, use the PRINT volumes located in Beeghly Periodicals!

48. Citing a Journal Article • There are many different citation styles • Each discipline or area within a discipline is likely to use a different style • In the sciences, it is common to use the same citation style as the dominant journal in the field.

49. ASM Citation Style • American Society of Microbiology publishes 11 journals in the field of microbiology or cell biology • The Journal of Bacteriology is one of the most important of these journals • Zoo120 will use the ASM citation style!
