CIG (1) Career Integration Grants (CIG) Objectives To reinforce the ERA by encouraging researchers to establish themselves in a MS or AC To attract and retain the best researchers in Europe Expected impact Provide researchers with opportunities for long term research position in Europe Reinforcement of the human research potential in the ERA Increase knowledge transfer and trans-national cooperation for EU research organisations Education and Culture

CIG (2) Eligibility Post-docs or researchers with at least 4 years of research experience Nationality Researchers of any nationality Mobility rule Stays in the host country no longer than 12 months in the last 3 years prior to the call deadline Duration 24-48 months; host organisation must offer full time research post for at least the duration of the CIG grant Topic Open to all fields of research Education and Culture

CIG (3) CIG cannot be combined with other Marie Curie Grants other ”personal grants” (e.g. ERC grants) CIG funding as lump sum: 25 000€/year=> for any type of costs of the proposed project Part of salary of Researcher (or other people working on project) Equipment, consumables, travel Overhead, management costs Success rates in CIG (2012 call)25 % No of proposals: 1645 (both cut-off dates) Education and Culture
