  3. De una nube clara y suave Con mucho cuidado arrancas Dos franjas iguales, blancas Como las alas de un ave;

  4. Luego, a una puesta de sol Quítale tres franjas rojas Como rosas de cien hojas En su mas puro arrebol.

  5. Del cielo Puertorriqueño Corta un triangulo brillante Que complemente al instante El Patriótico diseño.

  6. Aun le falta lo mejor, Que es del triangulo la estrella, Pídele a Dios la más bella Y ponla allí con amor!
