  1. Walking Challenge Join your colleagues on campus and incorporate 30 minute walks into your daily routine. Beginners and advanced walkers, runners and joggers alike are invited to participate in this six week challenge. The spring walking challenge is a perfect way to start including healthy fitness habits in your daily routine or just add to what you’re already doing. Whether you walk for at least 30 continuous minutes or three separate 10 minute intervals- it all counts! Every day that you make the goal of 30 minutes, your name will be entered into a prize drawing! Gift cards and prizes are up for grabs for five lucky winners! There will also be one department winning team awarded based on highest percentage of participation. Participants of the winning team will receive a catered healthy lunch. No steps to keep track of or complicated websites to visit. Simply turn in this log by noon Thursday, May 15th. Winners will be announced May 19th. Tips: Find a partner or two to join you on your walks. Arrive to work 30 minutes early and walk our beautiful campus. Utilize your morning, lunch and/or afternoon breaks for walks. Walk to the Union, library or Martindale to utilize the Hydration Stations and refill your water bottles. Leave the golf carts parked and walk. QUESTIONS? Contact: rebelwell@olemiss.edu
