  1. Noughts and Crosses

  2. introduction • Callum and Sephy • Events • Society problems • Love within these characters • Different perspective's of the world and the characters. • In The End……. • Photo Gallery

  3. Callum and Sephy • These main characters start off being best friends, they slowly start to feel for each other. This progresses as the story continues. They only keep it to them selves as they would never be approved by anyone as being a couple. • They fight over whether to be friends or whether to stay away from each other. They find it hard. So Sephy goes off to Chiver's boarding School, when she comes back she has a letter from Callum. • It all goes down hill…….

  4. Events • The events that occur in this book are thrilling and blood rushing. Eg: there is a huge group of white people who want to get revenge on black people, when the family splits up, when Callum starts and (All Black) school. Etc. • Ryan, Jude are in the Liberation Militia (LM). Which is an nought gang. They get revenge on the crosses for over ruling them and making the nought lives hell.

  5. Society Problems • The world is a racist world. The whole world is split. They DON’T allow the noughts(white) and Crosses(black) to mix, be friends, mingle, be in a relationship Etc. • The black people are the most well educated people in this novel. The white people are poor and uneducated people. • The white people are over-ruled by black people. • The black people had the overall decision weather the white people were hung or not. They were usually hung.

  6. Love within these Characters • Mr and Mrs Hadley have a really complicated relationship. They constantly fight over little things like(eg: Sephy being friends with Callum etc..) • Mrs and Mrs McGregor are a very complicated couple. They constantly fight. As the novel goes on the relationship falls to pieces. They don’t believe that nought and crosses should be friends or in a relationship.(eg: when Mr Hadley wants Sephy want her to get rid of hers and Callum’s baby.) • Callum and Sephy are a very determined and strong hearted people. They have there own perspective on noughts and crosses, they truly believe that they should be aloud to be together. No matter what colour!

  7. Different perspective's of the world and the characters. • The world has a strong belief that Noughts and crosses are basically forbidden to be friends or even in a relationship. • They make sure all schools are separate and have no interest in combining, but at Sephy’s school (Heathcroft High) Callum and three others whom are noughts, started to attend. • Callum and Sephy were very strong minded and didn’t worry about what anyone though of them being friends, but Sephy’s friends did they brutally bashed her in the toilet's. Whilst at school.

  8. In the End…. • The mysterious moments have gotten worse. • They have slowly got vital. • Callum is torn between choosing the one he loves and the one thing his dad and brother believe in, they think is right. • One of the characters have died for …….

  9. This is an amazing way to show people we need to change the world, but we have to do it all together.
