  2. Childhood • He was born in Indianapolis in 1922 • His birthday was November 11,1922 • He graduated in Shortridge High School

  3. Family • His family is him , his grandfather , his older brother. He got awards for a lot of things. His father is also called Kurt ,he was an architect and a hardware owner. He’s the author of Welcome to the Monkey House[1968] objected to descriptions of the elder Kurt and his mother , Edith , as leftists • His grandfather was born in Germany. Thousands of Hoosiers still used the Athenaeam that way as well as for it’s theater and restaurant. • Kurt’s father was an architect just like Kurt’s grand –father. • His family also owned lots, and lots of hardware stores in Indianapolis.

  4. Why He’s Famous • He was famous because he was a famous author. • He wrote a lot of books.

  5. Awards\ Honors • He got an award for a trip to Palermo last month where he was awarded Italy’s highest literary prize.

  6. What He’s Doing Now • What Kurt is doing now is still writing books I love writing I’m going to be an author when I grow up • THAT IS THE LIFE OF KURT VONNEGUT!!!!
