  5. eAssessment in the VET sector Assessment in VET Assessment means the process of collectingevidence and making judgements on whether competency has been achieved, to confirm that an individual can perform to the standard expected in the workplace, as expressed by the relevant endorsed industry/enterprise competency standards of a Training Package or by the learning outcomes of a VET accredited course.

  8. eAssessment in the VET sector Contextandbackground • E-assessment and the AQTF*: Bridging the divide between practitioners and auditors (Callan & Clayton, 2009) • Issues identified: • Lack of diversity in evidence collection • Auditors backgrounds vsValidity • Authenticity • Note: the AQTF has been replaced by Standards for NVR registered training organisations
