And aside from his soul music, he also managed to stir their attention to him with some of his controversial songs that have gained tremendous international success in the music scene. These are:

Both the album and the single had a major commercial success and were found to be one of the most downloaded songs up to date. Fuck you – This song has a clean version called Forget You while the other version is a song that reflects Cee Lo Green’s appreciation to firefighters which is Thank You. This was also sung in one of the fundraising events of the American President barrack Obama and had an international commercial success.
