  2. Why We Need A School Newspaper! • To wake students up! • Replace the pop culture values with real ones. • Involve parents into their child’s life. • Make students proud to graduate from East Windsor High School.

  3. What A School Newspaper Will Do! • Everyone needs to be aware of the world around them but especially teenagerswho are growing into the decision makers of the future. Students need to be aware of the triumphs and tragedies that take place in the world everyday. Students need to be aware of the opportunities that are open to them. • The values that society has set for the youth of today are ones of beauty, few brains and attitudes. A school newspaper would open the minds of the students today. A newspaper would replace those poor values with ones of merit, awareness, intelligence, maturity. • Students are in school approximately 7 hours everyday, the rest of that 17 hours is spent at home. It’s important for adults to be able to relate and discuss issues with their children. This paper is a link in that bridge of generations understanding each other. • It’s time East Windsor students had something original and their own, something they’re a part of like a school newspaper. It’s time for East Windsor to take pride in their school.
