The Big Question “We” are Trying to Answer • First, “we” are… concerned citizens that love Forest Park, Portland State University, the city of Portland and thousands of other organizations around the U.S. concerned about ivy removal and the health of our forests. • Is there a better way to remove ivy so it returns at a slower rate or not at all?

  3. Make a Hypothesis for the following Questions If we pull the ivy better will it return slower? What will happen to species diversity once the ivy is removed? What will happen to the nitrogen levels in the soil after the ivy is removed?
