  5. Assistantship Semesters & Hours • Part time assistantship (10-hours) • Full-time assistantships (20-hours) • Summer (2.5 months) • Fall (4.5 months) • Spring (4.5 months) • Fall/Spring (9 months)

  6. Hiring Process: GA Request Form Introduction & Overview of GA Request Form: GA Request Form • US Citizen not active on payroll • Non-resident w/o SS# not active on payroll

  7. Email for New Hires Good Morning/Afternoon: The Graduate Assistantship Office (GAO) has received the request for your assistantship award. Before our office can process your award, you are required to complete a new employee payroll packet. Please see the link below for complete instructions. You are encouraged to print the instructions and use them as a guide to ensure you have completed all of the steps as required. Be sure to contact your supervisor to establish a work schedule and to review your job duties and responsibilities.
