  2. capricious – adjective My mother said I can go out with you, but she’s so capricious, she may change her mind in an hour.

  4. blatant – adjective The red-head told a blatant lie when he said he was blond; we could all see he wasn’t. I can’t sleep due to the blatant street noise.

  5. blatant -- adjective • Without any attempt at concealment; completely obvious • Unpleasantly loud; offensively noisy

  6. obligatory – adjective Birthday gifts are nice, but not obligatory to attend my birthday party: having my friends with me is the best gift of all.

  8. negligible – adjective Marta’s hair is so dark, the black decorative comb was a negligible accessory, as no one could see it very well. Your apology for the murder is negligible: it won’t bring the victim back.
