  4. Notes • All notes will be available to student in the NE office. You can read or copy the notes in the office. The notes can’t be removed from the office area.

  5. Course Goals • To Provide a foundation in physics for students with a variety of backgrounds • Using reference text • Review of Physics 8 weeks • To provide a foundation for nuclear science • Using notes • Review of Nuclear science 8 weeks

  6. Grading • Lots and Lots of Homework 30% • Two Midterm Exams 40% • Comprehensive Final Exam 30%

  7. Exams • All exams are open book open notes • You may use a programmable calculator

  8. First Assignment • Get Book from Bookstore • Review Relativity
