CharismaticLeaders Charisma in the Leadership • ability to reach followers on a basic, emotional way, to inspire and motivate. • ability to communicate on a very powerful emotional level, and probably include some personality traits • relying on charisma to lead can cause disappointment • charisma will not substitute the lack of skills

  7. CharismaticLeaders Skills, Action and Behaviors • encouraging independent thinking • influencing others and communication • inspiring and motivating • role modeling

CharismaticLeaders Leadership Challenges and Solutions • leading the shy, quiet team members • - create a climate where they at least feel more comfortable • - open door policy not push them through it • handle chronic late comers to meetings • - start meeting regardless some members are missing or late • - do not stop meeting
