  1. Liquid A liquid is close together but are not in order. They can flow easily and they have spaces. Liquids take the shape of the container and cannot be squashed. Liquids can move but not as easily as a gas.

  2. Solid The solid particles are stuck together and they don’t have any space to move but they do vibrate. Solids are a fixed shape and they cant be squashed but they cant flow. E.G a desk knife cant go through a table. Solids can fill a container.

  3. Gas A gas is separated but can also be squashed. It also has a fixed shape. A gas can fill any container and they can move easily. Gases don’t touch but they bounce around the container,
