Who do we think we are? • His people and the sheep of His pasture • dust • glad • healed • the clay . . . we are the work of Your hand • not consumed • His witnesses • not under law but under grace • debtors • children of God • more than conquerors • the Lord’s • God’s fellow workers • to God the fragrance of Christ • hard-pressed . . . perplexed • always confident • well known to God

  42. 3. We Win Jesus had choices. He was wronged and He was betrayed and He was deserted and He was gossiped about and He was mocked and all sorts of things happened to Him and Jesus had choices about how He would respond. Moreover, in every passage that we are given, He responds with love.

  43. 3. We Win John 16:33: These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. [Jesus is saying, ‘I won.’] Colossians 2:15: And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
