  3. Tiger • Male tigers have been known to kill young tiger cubs. • The roar of a tiger can be heard from a mile away. • Their stripes help them to blend in with the tall grass. • Most tigers have more than twenty stripes. • Tigers stay together in streaks. Andrew

  4. Bald Eagle Craig • The bald eagle has much better eyesight than a human. • The bald eagle hunts in the day. • The bald eagle is best known for being America’s bird. • Wild bald eagles live 20 to 30 years. • The bald eagle has no predators!

  5. Arctic Wolf • Canin lupis • The arctic wolf can run up to 70 miles per hour. • Alaska, Canada, and Greenland • They go in groups to get food. • They have white fur. Danny

Otter • Otters are always brown. • A sea otter eats clams. • Otters will use seaweed for a blanket when they go to sleep and to make sure they don’t float away. • An otter will float while it’s eating and use its stomach as a table. • Otters love to play games in the water. • River otters will sled down snowy hills in the winter. • Otters are carnivores.   8. Hippopotamus • Hippopotamus Amphibius • Size 10-17 Ft. long, pygmy Hippo 5-6 Ft. long • Pygmy Hippo has a pink color on its body like sun block so it doesn’t get infected. • The Hippo has tusk teeth for survival. Drew

  9. Panda • Ailuopoda Melanoleua • If a mother panda has twins she has to kill one of them. • A panda spends hours chewing on bamboo. • A male panda grows to be about 5 feet. A female grows to be about 4 feet. • A panda weighs 200 - 300 pounds. Grace

The mommy zebra will tell the other zebra family members to go away for 5 days. • Zebras have a powerful kick that can cause serious injuries to a predator. • They can smile like a human. • Zebras spend most of their time in herds.
