Details“Need-to-know” . . . • Nine week grading periods • Three week & sixth week progress reports • Report cards each nine weeks • Nine week grades are independent from each other • Final exam at the end of the semester {January & June} • Semester grade is the average of both nine weeks grades (90%) and final exam (10%) • Year average is the mean of semester averages • Academic Recognitions • “A” Honor Roll • “A / B” Honor Roll • Falcon Fiesta • Fabulous Falcon • Random Acts of Kindness

  15. Shirts • No bare midriffs • No visible undergarments • No bare shoulders to the shoulder point • Shoulder point • Boys must have sleeves • The opening of a blouse or shirt should be high enough to prevent any visible cleavage at all times.

Pants • Shorts & skirts must be fingertip length • (tights, leggings, jeggings . . . do not count) • Holes in clothing are not permitted anywhere in the garment; patches that cover holes must be permanently attached to the garment. • No visible undergarments • Pants should be worn and must remain at the natural waistline which is defined as the hipbone

  17. Footwear • No bare feet! • No shoes with wheels • No house shoes, slippers or shower shoes

Hair, Grooming & Accessories • Students hair, by the nature of the style, shall not tend to create a distraction. • Hair must be a naturally occurring hair color. • Students must be clean and neatly groomed. • Students may wear appropriate earrings. • No facial jewelry. • Symbols or logos on clothing should not represent, express or advertise anything disruptive to the school environment including (but not limited to) alcohol, drugs, tobacco, profanity, obscenities or violence.

Details“Need-to-know” . . . • The typical day: • Arrival: anytime after 7:00 a.m.; report to cafeteria • Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. • Teachers are available @ 8:00 a.m. with a hall pass • Classes begin @ 8:45 a.m. • Eight class periods (45 minutes each) • English Language Arts – 90 minutes • Lunch @ 1:00 p.m. (30 minutes) • Classes dismiss @ 4:00 p.m. • Lots of instruction of routines
