  2. What news does Balthasar bring Romeo? Balthasar brings Romeo the news that Juliet is dead. He also tells Romeo that he saw Juliet’s funeral.

  3. Where will Juliet be placed once her family believes she “dies”? Juliet will be placed in the Capulet family tomb.

  4. What will Juliet say she will do if the potion does not work? If the potion does not work, Juliet says she will kill herself.

  5. What is Friar Laurence’s plan for Juliet? Friar Laurence will give Juliet a potion that will make it seem as though she is dead for 42 hours. By this time, he will have alerted Romeo of the situation. Romeo will then come to Verona and take Juliet away.

  6. What are four fears Juliet expresses before drinking the potion? Juliet is afraid that Friar Laurence is trying to poison her. Juliet is afraid to wake up in a tomb full of dead smelly bodies. Juliet is worried about bumping into Tybalt’s ghost. Juliet is concerned that the potion will not work and she will be forced to marry Paris after all.
